1. How does the EngSugar Outsourcing Service work?
TThe Outsourcing Service is a Management Tool that manages the Factory Unit. It is carried out by experienced technical staff, who develops all the activities necessary and focus on the results. They are supported by EngSugar’s technological management and operational know-how.

2. What benefits can the Outsourcing Service bring to my company?
By hiring EngSugar’s Outsourcing services, the Customer is guaranteeing a differentiated service, where the main benefit is the opportunity to contract a Company and not just a Technician. Remember the popular saying: “Many heads are better than one.”

The objective of the Outsourcing Service is to add technical and behavioral value to the existing technical staff, propagating state-of-the-art technical concepts and working for their continuous improvement. Any substitutions will involve only those related to the Outsourcing Service contracted.

4. Can the Outsourcing Service be used in the farming area?
No. We only focus on Industrial Management.

5. Does EngSugar’s Projects Division only design projects for companies where the company provides Advisory, Consulting or Outsourcing Services?

No, if the Customer has carried out its own industrial diagnosis or has one from another consultant and wants to contract the Projects developed by EngSugar, we will be very pleased to supply them.

6. If I contract the Outsourcing Services, will that include inter-harvest improvement or expansion projects?
Information exchange involving all the EngSugar technical staff and the projects department is a constant practice. The role of the Outsourcing Service engineers is directed towards good management of the industrial plant.

The tasks that are intrinsic to the project are carried out by our workshop and its specific team of engineers, who are exclusively dedicated to designing the projects that are supplied separately as a product of our Projects Area. These will be the object of future negotiations.

7. Can the Outsourcing Service be used in only one sector?
Yes. Basically, we offer Industrial Park Management Technicians and Process Management Technicians. It is not mandatory to simultaneously make use of them both.

8. Is it easy to carry out business management using only the internal resources available?
According to the engineer Carlos Fernandes, Outsourcing Service Manager at the Ibéria Mill (Borá-SP), in the current economic environment, it is very difficult to efficiently manage all the infrastructure of the industry using only the available internal resources. This is why resorting to Outsourcing to guarantee that all of the industrial park is functioning well is, without doubt, the best solution for achieving capital gains in terms of costs, flexibility and access to specialized resources.

9. If the Customer requires the projects developed by EngSugar in its industry to be managed full-time, can EngSugar provide this service?
EngSugar has a technical team with the capacity to monitor these services, both in the projects area and the services area.

10. When we buy an EngSugar project, does it include monitoring the start-up process?
EngSugar can include monitoring the start-up process, if the Customer so wishes.

11. Is the Technical and Human Development Service (THD) standard for all industries?
THD is a product which attempts to meet the needs of each customer. This is why we try to supply a differentiated product, aimed at solving your problems. This product uses Technical and Behavioral Training as a tool and is focused on results.

12. Is it possible to develop a specific THD module for the sugar production process?
THD has a scope of eight (8) defined modules. However, if the need arises to apply a module which is not part of our portfolio, we can develop this module.

13. Can the modules that make up the Technical and Human Development Service (THD), be given separately or do we have to have them all?
Yes, we can give the modules separately. However, EngSugar suggests to all its Customers that the Behavioral Modules, which aim to improve the relationships between all the collaborators, are given before the Technical Modules.

14. Does EngSugar evaluate the industrial processes as if it were providing Consultancy Services?
In the opinion of the engineer Hideraldo Borba, Director and Services Manager, EngSugar provides companies with Consultancy Services, in accordance with their objectives, carrying out a diagnosis of the current situation in order to, later, propose different solutions and monitor any that are implemented.

15. Does EngSugar only design projects for industries, or does it also provide services for engineering companies?
EngSugar’s operations include providing services to all sectors of the sugar cane industrialization industry. Therefore, engineering companies can also be our customers, using the services of our project workshop, as long as they share the same Technical values.

16. Does EngSugar provide Process Auditing Services for the Management?
No. We carry out technical evaluations of the productive process, with the aim of identifying technical inefficiencies, suggesting possible changes and monitoring their implementation, if necessary. We have chosen to operate in this way because we consider this type of work to be more complete than a simple audit.

17. If I contract EngSugar to partner the development and introduction of a new product within my company’s sugar cane industrialization process, what will the relationship be like?
EngSugar’s principles include respecting the internal rules of the Customer. It is responsible for all the acts carried out by its collaborators and guarantees complete confidentiality.

18. Which products can we obtain from the EngSugar Projects Division?
Engineering Projects which include: Technical Feasibility Studies for the installation of new Industrial Units, Feasibility Studies for Industrial Expansion Projects, Fundamental Projects, Equipment and System Manufacturing and Installation Projects, Equipment and System Optimization and Improvement Projects, and Industrial Automation Projects.

19. Does EngSugar supply equipment according to the Turnkey System?
There are some items of equipment that are supplied according to the Turnkey System, which are manufactured by assemblers that have been approved by EngSugar. These items of equipment have an EngSugar performance guarantee.

20. Is EngSugar also an assembler?
No. In the majority of our projects, especially the large scale ones, as well as supplying the projects; we monitor, coordinate and manage their assembly, on site, when requested to by the Customer.

21. What is the EngSugar Relationship Program (ERP)?
The EngSugar Relationship Program (ERP) is a program aimed at intensifying information exchange between EngSugar Technicians, as well as between EngSugar and its Customers, by providing a common environment where all interested parties can access this information.

22. What type of information does the ERP make available?
Customers can access all the information that is being managed in the contracted services, from technical reports to drawings. It is also possible to watch and participate in the discussions being held between the technicians that are involved in the contracted work.
